BRANDSMART USA WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR PRIMARY PURPOSE This is a multi-function warehouse supervisory position which will include supervising all the procedures of warehouse personnel. This is an hourly position which will report to the Warehouse Manager.
Requirements
- Ability to read English (or another language as may be required for a specific store) sufficiently to read the pink invoice to match merchandise with the pick ticket.
- Basic English language writing skills.
- Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction, necessary to verify quantity of merchandise being pulled or being returned to stock.
- Ability to grasp and lift or otherwise move goods weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted or up to 150 pounds with assistance.
- Visual ability, corrected, to be able to observe and detect signs of shoplifting or dangerous behavior at a distance of 30 yards.
- Ability to stand and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for a seven and one-half hour shift, with two fifteen-minute breaks and one half hour meal break.
- Ability to learn and perform accurately all essential Warehouse Supervisor position functions with minimal direct supervision, within two weeks after an employee begins work.
- Some knowledge of the Company’s mission, purpose and goals, and the role of the Warehouse Supervisor in achieving them
