About The Position

Manages the overall warehouse operations and daily activities of warehouse team. Supervise receiving, transferring, stowing, shipping, inventory management and documentation. Manage and develop team with growth opportunities. Ensure the safety and security of the goods and materials. Utilizes ERP to track and analyze processes and performance. Implement strong safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics (preferred)
  • Experience with ERP (preferably Epicor)
  • Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse related function
  • Minimum of three years supervisory experience with ability to improve and develop team
  • Expertise in shipping, logistics, supply chain, inventory management, warehousing disciplines in medical device or other regulated industry
  • Strong EHS background
  • Experience with international shipping
  • Advanced skills with MS Office
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Excellent organization, communication, and follow-up skills
  • Extremely high standards of excellence
  • Analytical approach to problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for inventory control
  • Manage the order processing team to ensure correct picking, packing, shipping and verification is performed
  • Review and update warehouse practices in accordance with new or changing policies, standards, or regulations
  • Manage inventory counts, cycle counts, investigating discrepancies and root cause
  • Manage all functions related to inventory including adjustments, quantity, and price variance analysis
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, reducing waste, and contributing to process improvements.
  • Be a key member of cross-functional meetings to maintain clear understanding of inventory
  • Continuously monitor supply chain risks & action plans to mitigate/improve
  • Lead and develop high performance warehouse, shipping and receiving teams
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, training, and developing employees
