NPW was founded in 1969 and has grown significantly through the successful completion of 30 acquisitions and organic endeavors. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and team management. This role will lead and mentor warehouse staff, implement process improvements, and uphold high standards for safety and productivity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), scanners, and inventory software
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret numeric and alphanumeric part numbers
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • High attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse logistics, including shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution
  • Monitor and track inventory movement; reconcile discrepancies and perform regular cycle counts
  • Ensure proper labeling, packaging, handling, and placement of inventory
  • Lead and motivate a warehouse team to meet daily and weekly performance goals
  • Implement and enforce company, state, and federal safety regulations and best practices
  • Coordinate with purchasing, operations, and sales teams to ensure inventory accuracy and timely deliveries
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one coaching to foster growth and accountability
  • Prepare reports on productivity, inventory levels, and team performance for management review
