About The Position

This position supports day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory control, and team supervision. The Warehouse Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for monitoring workflow, analyzing operational data, exercising sound judgement and working independently or collaboratively to meet business objectives

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work effectively with or without direct supervision in both independent and team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• 3 years’ previous experience in both warehousing and supervision

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff to include order pulling, shipping, inventory management, quality control, safety compliance, attendance monitoring and corrective discipline.
• Lead, influence and manage warehouse team to achieve common goals and standards.
• Use, train and support others in the use of company equipment such as RF Scanners & printers.
• Analyze operational data to positively impact company metrics, KPIs and reporting accuracy.
• Explain, demonstrate and enforce inspection and quality control procedures.
• Assign experienced staff to assist in training new team members.
• Conduct periodic inventories and cycle counts.
• Verify and maintain records for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Operate lift truck and other equipment as necessary to support shipping/receiving/distribution.
