About The Position
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities of an assigned work team on a shift basis. This includes directing assigned Associates in the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of customer products in a manner consistent with service and cost objectives. The supervisor will ensure the efficient unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments while maintaining high levels of quality. Additionally, the role involves ensuring that inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage, facilitating cross communication between shifts, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area while adhering to security policies and procedures. The supervisor is also responsible for ensuring that Associates follow all safety policies and procedures, investigating and reporting safety accidents and violations, and conducting operations in accordance with OSHA and MSDS Standards. Conducting shift meetings is also part of the responsibilities.
