About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor at Galaxy Global International LLC is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes in receiving, storing, and shipping seafood products. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as the supervisor will manage a team, develop standard operating procedures, and collaborate with various departments to meet operational goals. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and passionate about maintaining high standards of quality and safety in the warehouse environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the seafood industry
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other departments and external vendors
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
• Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Forklift certification and experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping of seafood products
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the warehouse to improve efficiency and productivity
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability of products
• Work closely with other departments to coordinate shipping and receiving schedules and ensure on-time deliveries
• Manage a team of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Implement and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure product quality and adherence to food safety standards
• Develop and manage the warehouse budget, including forecasting and cost control
• Maintain accurate records and reports of warehouse activities, including inventory levels, shipping and receiving schedules, and staffing
