About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the operation and supervision of all warehouse activities. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures that all employees and activities are operating within designated safety standards, as well as making sure that all stock is received, shipped and processed in accordance with proper procedures. Other duties include processing and requisitioning supplies; delivering, processing, and packaging merchandise for shipment; and assisting with any necessary security measures.

Requirements

• Minimally requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years' industry experience in supply chain operations.

Nice To Haves

• Industry knowledge is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Train, schedule, and supervise subordinates.
• Ensure that there is sufficient staffing to handle workloads during shifts.
• Ensure that all work is conducted in the proper manner and per operating procedures.
• Review, resolve and possibly escalate personnel complaints and grievances.
• Ensure compliance with appropriate company human resources policies and procedures.
• Supervise warehouse staff and ensure that safety protocols are followed.
• Complete operating metrics that measure throughput and efficiency.
• Author and keep current written operating procedures.
• Coordinate and Supervise inventory cycle counts.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Respond to warehouse related inquiries.
