About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the daily administration and operation of the warehouse, ensuring that materials are received, stored, shipped, and reported according to established procedures. This role involves directing and supervising warehouse staff, reviewing the effectiveness of operating procedures, and maintaining a safe work environment. The supervisor will also coach and mentor team members while ensuring that all routine paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree is a plus.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience coaching, mentoring, and training staff.
• At least 3 years of warehouse experience.
• Basic skill level in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the warehouse including processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure overtime is maintained within the budget allotted.
• Oversee receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy of the inventory and account for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities.
• Audit goods received into the warehouse.
• Coach and mentor team members in productivity, quality, safety, and Medline Core Values.
• Complete all routine paperwork accurately and on time.
• Assist the warehouse manager in maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
• Lead day-to-day activities of employees, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work.
• Provide technical guidance on complex issues and input into hiring, firing, and performance reviews.
• Work with customer service to resolve warehouse-related issues.
