The Warehouse Supervisor at Cencora plays a crucial role in overseeing warehouse operations, including the hiring, training, and performance management of associates. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and DEA regulations while directing workflow and improving productivity within the warehouse. The supervisor will manage various functional areas such as receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and accurately.

  • Hire, terminate, direct, and manage the performance of warehouse associates.
  • Oversee functional areas of the warehouse including receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, and order filling.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and DEA regulations.
  • Direct workflow, motivate, train, and monitor the performance of warehouse associates.
  • Monitor work processes and suggest modifications to improve productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Supervise the receipt of merchandise and maintain accurate logs of products received.
  • Oversee the counting, weighing, and identifying of items being shipped.
  • Ensure quality packing of items to protect breakable goods during shipping.
  • Maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing controlled substances in the cage/vault area.
  • Track attendance, monitor performance, and manage overtime for associates.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Good decision-making, analytical, and mathematical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations and computer systems including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficiency in operating a reach truck.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and participate in weekend on-call rotation.
