Warehouse Supervisor / Mechanic
About The Position
As a Mechanic at Lawns Unlimited your focus will be ensuring all equipment and vehicles are ready and operating efficiently through proper maintenance and repairs. Maintaining the warehouse is also an important aspect of the role.incoming/outgoing shipments and A typical day may include: Performing preventative maintenance and major repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment Coordinating repairs and maintenance with Managers and field specialists Reviewing Vehicle Inspection Reports to prioritize work and address issues promptly Ordering and receiving parts and supplies, completing required paperwork for the office and vendors Training field specialists on equipment maintenance and safe vehicle operation whenever possible Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment in the shop and yard Manage incoming/outgoing shipments oversee inventory clean and organize warehouse Oversee maintenance of building This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in caring for their own fleet and equipment while supporting a high-performing team.
Requirements
- Experience in small engine repair and two-stroke engine maintenance
- Your own basic tools for engine repair and maintenance
- Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals, diagnostic charts, and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues
- A valid driver’s license
- Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with spray equipment, tanks, and pumps is a plus
- ASE certification is a plus
