The Warehouse Supervisor - Inventory Control role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient workflows, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting safety initiatives, and fostering a positive team environment. Must have a strong background in warehouse operations, proven leadership experience, and a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to driving success.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics workflows
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of warehouse safety standards and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, inventory management, picking, packing, shipping, and short-haul transportation
  • Coordinate tasks and staffing to ensure smooth, efficient workflows and on-time operations
  • Train, mentor, and oversee warehouse team members, ensuring adherence to proper handling procedures, inventory practices, and safety standards
  • Manage the establishment, maintenance, and accuracy of inventory records, ensuring proper tracking of all inbound and outbound goods
  • Promote and enforce strong warehouse safety practices, continually enhancing personnel and property safety awareness
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse layouts, space utilization, and processes for maximum efficiency
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and other tools to track, analyze, and report on warehouse performance
  • Ensure all operations align with company safety, quality, and productivity standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
