About The Position

Position Purpose Oversight of Warehouse Supervisors across multiple locations throughout a specific territory. Manage logistics, procurement, inventory management, budgeting, and safety performance. Partner cross-functionally to advise and implement strategic business planning. This includes negotiating supply agreements and working directly with vendors to manage inventory levels and flow, seeking out new sources for materials and staging product and materials by installation job.Position Responsibilities Overseeing the logistical operation of the warehouses including the following functions: ordering, receiving, product storage/inventory, product deliveries to remote facilities, ensuring daily installation load outs are done accurately and efficiently, traveling to multiple ship to locations on a regular cadence, and lead a safety culture throughout the department by supporting all safety initiatives. Ensures all inventory transactions and physical location is complete, correct and done on time. Implement best in class warehousing processes that drive operational efficiencies. Ensure all assigned warehouses maintain Federal and local regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOL, EEOC, etc.) Analyze inventory levels and lead development of inventory optimization/lean warehouse practices. Document standards for organization and material management through proven processes and innovation. Ability to implement new processes and best practices. — Create a culture of continuous improvement and customer service through team meetings, training and development, and additional initiatives. Track and deliver on warehouse KPIs with a focus on Continuous Improvement. Organize staff meetings on a regular basis. Lead, manage, hire, onboard and inspire staff effectively, including leadership development of your team. Representing the department during branch leadership meetings. Managing Fleet for branch. Handling maintenance for all vehicles leased by the branch. Keep inventory on vehicles and manage additional leases/returns Other duties as assigned by leader. Direction of Others Supervision of Warehouse Supervisors and may provide daily direction and supervision of warehouse staff and supplemental workforce. Including ability to collaborate with other branch leaders.

Requirements

  • Requires an associate degree or equivalent and additional 4+ years of education or equivalent or on-the-job training (a total 6+ years
  • MS Office Computer Skills including solid excel skills
  • Requires solid decision-making skills to analyze, prioritize and anticipate issues; demonstrated ability to define problems, gather data, and offer solutions
  • Ability to develop a network of resources and contacts to develop solutions to issues and opportunities.
  • Requires experience communicating and building relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills: listening, written and verbal messages
  • Able to provide coaching, training, and work direction to warehouse associates.
  • Excellent organizational skills in structuring work assignments, creating standard work procedures, and planning projects
  • Proven ability to proactively manage inventory levels, with two years warehouse experience
  • Knowledge of construction methods
  • Solid interpersonal skills; customer orientation
