About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor at SPAR is responsible for managing and overseeing warehouse teams, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. This role involves performance management, onsite training, and maintaining a safe working environment. The supervisor acts as a coach and mentor, motivating the team to achieve excellence in their tasks and processes.

Requirements

• High School degree or GED or equivalent experience
• 1+ years experience working in large scale warehouse or highly knowledgeable in warehouse operations as a supervisor
• 2 years experience working as a warehouse lead
• Experience in all areas of warehousing (shipping, receiving, picking/pulling, stocking, etc.)
• Understanding of OSHA guidelines and warehouse safety measures
• Excellent communication skills
• Deep understanding of warehouse management systems/inventory management systems
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Smartphone required to sign in and out for shifts (not allowed in warehouse)
• Reliable, safe, and a team player
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Access to reliable transportation for all required shifts

Responsibilities

• Attend all shift and training meetings
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Provide day-to-day direction, supervision, and coaching to workers
• Ensure workers' compliance with safety checklist and completion of new worker required documents
• Manage performance/quality and conduct safety training
• Ensure accurate processing of all merchandise to stores and guests
• Report to work on time and complete all job tasks accurately and on time
• Engage in problem solving to support continuous improvement
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
• Comply with dress code, allowing only a clear water container in the work area
