About The Position

MGP Ingredients is a leading supplier of premium distilled spirits and food ingredient solutions. Its Distilling Solutions segment provides bourbons, whiskeys, ryes, gins, and vodkas to craft and multinational brands. MGP's own Branded Spirts business is growing following the 2021 acquisition of Luxco, a top spirits producer, bottler, supplier, and importer as well as the 2023 acquisition of Penelope Bourbon, known for its wide range of uniquely blended expressions. Ingredient Solutions delivers nutritional, functional wheat- and pea-based ingredients aligned with consumer trends. The company operates in locations across the Midwestern U.S., and overseas in Northern Ireland and Mexico. THE OPPORTUNITY Plan, communicate, and coordinate warehouse/packaging and shipping/logistics scheduling within ingredients operation Supply Chain. Ensure inventories are managed within space constraints and reported to management team. Ensure planned KPI’s on productivity, efficiency and performance are met or exceeded. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Protein and Starch Warehouse Operations Manage daily packaging, sanitation, maintenance, and shipping duties. Manage tank inventory to assure continuous production and packing of various materials. Coordinate with Customer Service assuring correct material is delivered to customers in a timely manner. Monitor out of specification products that need a disposition, requiring coordination with Director of Ingredients Operation and Quality Assurance manager. Schedule planning for personnel according to packing needs. Coordinate with Quality Management to move inventory to Offiste-3rd Party Warehouse to manage available space for daily, work week and weekend packing operations. Contract Manager for projects executed in the warehouse. Leadership Train and coach direct reports to maintain a well-educated workforce in GMP’s, safety and plant policies and procedures. Providing clear and concise directions to ensure warehouse operators make the correct decisions. Conduct pre-training for yearly BRC CCP competency tests. Complete monthly inventories of internal warehouse. Conduct yearly inventories of external warehouses. Documentation Complete necessary documentation for environmental, safety and sanitation. Complete all Daily Management metrics and communicate with the operations team. Overseeing budget for P/S Warehouse Review and manage budgets with Site leader and accounting for P/S warehouse. Prioritize decisions for repairs or purchases are with the assistance of Operations Manager. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related business management discipline. 5-7 years of manufacturing and/or warehousing/shipping management experience. Experience working within BRC or SQF‑certified facilities preferred. SAP, Quality management, inventory management, DOT rules and regulations. Mechanical skills also a plus. Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing production. Industrial manufacturing, good food manufacturing practices and mechanical skills. Requirements
