As a Warehouse Stock Picker AM Associate at CITY Furniture, your primary responsibility will be to maintain accurate inventory of all products within the distribution center. This role is crucial in supporting various operations including Customer Pickup, Chair Assembly, Rewrap, and Merchandise Returns. You will be tasked with pulling and putting away merchandise in our rack system, ensuring that both internal and external customers receive their products efficiently and accurately. Your contributions will play a significant role in the success of the Operations Department at CITY Furniture, which is committed to providing quality home furnishings in an exciting and fun environment. In this position, you will conduct inventory counts for all products in the distribution center and investigate any discrepancies that arise. Utilizing proper material handling techniques and equipment is essential to minimize damage to merchandise and prevent personal injuries. You will also be responsible for examining products for damages, documenting the reasons for any damages, and notifying a Supervisor as necessary. Additionally, you will pull merchandise from the rack system for the Customer Pickup department and store away merchandise into the rack system from various distribution center departments. This role requires a proactive approach to inventory management and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency in all tasks performed.
