About The Position

The Warehouse Staff position at L&F Distributors involves working in a team-oriented environment focused on safety and efficiency. The position requires adherence to set procedures and involves physical labor, including lifting and moving stock items.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
  • Minimum 1-year work experience in warehousing or manufacturing.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal shift hours to accommodate various employee schedules.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • Strong team player with the ability to get along with co-workers.
  • Good verbal/written communication skills and basic math skills.
  • Ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Unload returning trucks and load for the next day.
  • Load pallets according to delivery schedule.
  • Operate the Tygard machine and replenish when needed.
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
  • Pick a minimum of 1300 cases daily and count stock items, and record data by voice command on a headset/cell.
  • Operate and inspect powered industrial equipment in the warehouse.
  • Inspect each bottle or can to ensure it meets AB standards for repacking.
  • Create boxes using glue guns and label makers, placing cleaned product inside and preparing it for the warehouse.
  • Dispose of outdated beer and clean up spilled materials and cardboard when completed.
  • Place repacked material back into the warehouse for order picking.
  • Stage products to support delivery/shipping operations.
  • Verify outgoing products on pallets from the pick sheets.
  • Check that pallets are built stably before leaving the warehouse.
  • Use PPE to perform job safely when handling broken bottles.
  • Monitor hours based on operations and not exceed what is requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and assist in other areas as needed.
