We are currently accepting applications for a Warehouse Spotter in our State-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Watertown, WI, conveniently located between Madison and Milwaukee. These are full-time positions working nights, 4:55pm-5:25am, Wednesday-Friday, every other Saturday, days, 4:55am-5:25pm, 3-4 days per week on a rotating schedule (Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday), OR Monday-Friday from 3PM-11:30PM, and will report to the Warehouse Manager. Because you're only working 3-4 days per week, you have more full days off for hobbies and time with friends and family. Also, there are 8-hours of built-in overtime during your 4-day workweek. Last, if you volunteer for an extra work day and it's available, it is paid at double-time. JOB SUMMARY: The Warehouse Spotter is responsible for spotting trailers, processing inbound and outbound orders, performing inventory management practices, verifying and recording material handling transactions, while following all safety and quality procedures and proficiently operating all material handling equipment. The Warehouse Spotter must also possess a great deal of flexibility in their ability to multi-task and maintain a positive, team attitude.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
CDL Class A Drivers License Required
Minimum of one year of industrial warehouse experience required, which includes forklift operation, Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience, and shipping and/or receiving experience.
Lift 55 pounds on a continual basis
Stand and walk for entire shift
Speak, write and read in English
Ability to perform basic math skills
Work at heights above 10 feet and in extreme heat and cold
Work with allergens, such as soy, milk, etc.
Positive, can-do attitude and flexibility to perform a variety of tasks
Multi-tasking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrate range-of-motion, strength, and physical stamina needed to safely perform the job in fast-paced work environment.
Remain alert to safety hazards, maintain attention to stay on task, manage time effectively, and work independently and in a team to complete assigned tasks.

Nice To Haves

Additional experience beyond one year is preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Solochain, Microsoft Navision, Plant Control Systems, and Label Management would be helpful

Responsibilities

Drive the Spotter semi-tractor and spot box trucks, oil loads, and sugar loads, etc.
Unload bulk sugar and oil loads through completion of load.
Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Move ingredients/finished materials in and out of racking, using the electronic inventory management system, to achieve proper first expired-first out (FEFO) / product rotation procedures.
Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and tankers, completing the necessary inspection forms and HACCP requirements.
Receive, inspect, sample, tag, and route all incoming materials. Pick, pack, load, and prepare orders for shipping.
Complete paperwork and log information accurately (Bill of Ladings (BOL’s), inbound/outbound orders, ProForma’s, etc.).
Interact with truck drivers, customers, and other CQC departments.
Perform cleaning activities as needed.
Provide superior customer service.
Cover for other employees while on break/lunch.
Operate forklift and other material handling equipment and drive personal vehicle for work. Designated employees may be approved to operate the CQC van and therefore, must have an acceptable driving record.
Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor, while following all company, safety, and quality policies and procedures.
Maintain regular attendance at work.
