The Warehouse Specialist will provide shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance support. This position is a full-time, direct hire role with full benefits available after 30 days of employment.
Properly package, label and tag warehouse inventory.
Complete and log daily activities including receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, issuing all materials, and completing special assignments.
Conduct cycle-counts of inventory and manage daily log.
Enter material into IES Inventory database.
Load and unload goods and supplies and ensure proper handling.
Maintain warehouse quality by tracking damaged inventory and reporting it.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
Operate both forklifts and company vehicles as required.
Work in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles.
Efficiently carry out all task assignments.
High School diploma or GED equivalency.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a warehouse environment.
Basic understanding of operating systems (SAP, Spectrum).
Intermediate skill level using Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to meet Company minimum driving standards.
Ability to use power tools.
Physical agility to conduct warehouse inventory.
Familiarity with cycle-counting, order picking, shipping, receiving and operating a forklift.
Knowledge of 5S and Lean environments.
