Easy Ice continues to grow and seeks a bright, highly motivated Warehouse Specialist in our Mamaroneck. The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties including packing/shipping, receiving/processing incoming stock and materials, unloading and loading trucks, organizing, land retrieving stock and making sure the work environment is clean. The Associate is also responsible for the data entry and inventory of all stock and for ensuring the warehouse is running smoothly and all inventory is where it needs to be.

Requirements

Six months previous warehouse experience, preferred
Forklift certification, preferred
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Unrestricted right to work in the United States, required
Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and multi-line phone systems
A self-motivated and disciplined individual who will work well independently and as a team member
Desire to learn more about warehouse operations and basic operating and maintenance of ice machines
Clear and professional communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
Good planning and time management skills
Keen attention to detail
Willing to assume a variety of tasks
The employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use ladders; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel surfaces, parts and materials; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Stands for extended periods of time
Lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move objects of a greater weight
Ability to work in conditions that may include extreme temperatures
High school diploma or equivalent, required
