About The Position

The Warehouse Specialist role is focused on assisting local parcel delivery operations, including sorting, pickup, and dispatch. Key responsibilities involve forecasting driver needs, planning DSP driver routes, and recruiting/interviewing drivers. The specialist will assign tasks to frontline and outsourced warehouse staff, troubleshoot operational issues, learn internal warehouse/logistics software, and perform data handling tasks. The role also requires generating and distributing daily pickup tasks, collaborating across departments for driver resource allocation, and addressing disruptions like vehicle breakdowns or driver absences. Communication with third parties and assisting drivers with issues during pickup and delivery are crucial. The specialist will manage exception handling and complaints, working with customers and internal/external teams to ensure timely resolutions and process improvements. On-the-job training is provided through a rotational approach, and the company is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both Chinese and English (written & spoken).
  • Must have legal work authorization in the U.S.
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across dispatch, drivers, warehouse, and customer service teams.
  • Able to multitask under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
  • Comfortable with phone and email communication.

Responsibilities

  • Assist local parcel delivery operations, such as sorting, pickup, and dispatch.
  • Forecast driver’s needs, plan DSP driver routes, and recruit/interview drivers.
  • Assign tasks to frontline and outsourced warehouse staff, enhancing team cohesion.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues, learn our internal warehouse/logistics software, and perform data handling tasks.
  • Generate daily pickup tasks, review, and distribute them to the dispatch team.
  • Collaborate across departments to allocate driver resources effectively.
  • Address vehicle breakdowns, driver absences, and other disruptions.
  • Communicate task changes with third parties and assist drivers in resolving issues during pickup and delivery.
  • Manage exception handling and complaints, including delays or missed pickups.
  • Work with customers and internal/external teams to ensure timely resolutions and close service loops.
  • Track recurring issues and provide process improvement suggestions.
