Warehouse Specialist

About the position

Serco is hiring a Warehouse Specialist supporting our Navy customer in Millington, TN. Serco supports the Navy Recruiting Command with recruiting the best quality men and women from the diverse population of our country and focus on the productive outcomes required by executing best business practices and maintaining an effective, motivated, integrated active and reserve recruiting force. The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.61/hour plus an additional $4.57/hour for Health and Welfare (H&W).

Responsibilities

• Use manual or mechanized equipment to move, stack, box, and position materials and equipment through a warehouse facility.
• Use Navy computers and commercial carrier's computers to update information in inventory database, process customer's requests, generate shipping labels, shipping reports, etc.
• Log incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assemble material for issue.
• Organize, arrange, and inventory material in storage areas to prevent damage, deterioration, and loss.
• Clean rooms or work areas.
• Move material using forklifts, pallet jack and hand truck.
• Load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products.
• Maintain material handling equipment.

Requirements

• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of experience related to Experience Warehouse Support and Office Management.
• Ability to obtain a forklift operator's license and a motor vehicle license.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• 10% travel required.
