About The Position

ABOUT US: Travis Association for the Blind/Austin Lighthouse (TAB) a non-profit organization, was founded in 1934 by Dr. Henry L. Hilgartner and other civic-minded citizens of Austin to provide a setting where blind men and women could come to learn skills and create products that were sold door to door. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Demonstrates sound work ethics
Possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity
Be punctual and dependable
Show good manual dexterity
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Team building skills

Responsibilities

Accurately count and deliver partial, single and multiple box orders to the production areas.
Leave pallets neat with no loose product
Calculate and balance a reasonable cartload of products and triwalls
Construct and secure packing boxes
Quality check orders
Correctly ship filled orders of various types
Restock the production area
Follow Security, safety, and organizational policies always.
Complies with and assists other employees in understanding and complying with TAB's policies and procedures.
Behaves in accordance with the key behaviors aligned with TAB's Core Values of Leadership, Integrity, Growth & Innovation, Heart and Teamwork (LIGHT).
