About The Position

The Warehouse Specialist I is responsible for learning and becoming proficient in at least one functional area of the warehouse. This could consist of shipping, receiving, returns and/or collections.

Requirements

• HS Diploma
• Ability to be trained and become proficient in one focused area of the warehouse. This could consist of shipping, receiving, returns and/or collections.
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
• Management and organizational skills to support the leadership of this function
• Ability to follow or provide verbal & written instructions with sufficient grammar and spelling skills to avoid mistakes or misinterpretations
• Interpersonal skills to support customer service, functional, and teammate support needs
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Ability for basic to intermediate problem solving, including mathematics
• Basic to intermediate computer operation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Specialty knowledge of systems relating to job function
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for this position; general understanding of HIPAA guidelines

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all daily frame and accessory orders
• Complete all ordering, receiving and distribution of all frame orders on a daily basis.
• Maintain good relationships and communication between distribution teams.
• Ensure all frames within the distribution center are properly tagged and priced before distributing.
• Complete all frame returns and credits monthly.
• Maintain inventory within the frame department and ensure that all stock is tagged and sorted correctly.
• Participate in annual inventory counts and any other counts deemed necessary by management.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and great customer service.
• Performs other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization.
