Compensation range: $18.75 - $21.50 per hour The base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications. Benefits: 15 days of PTO 9 Paid holidays Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance 401k + Employer Match Paid Parental Leave Wellness App with reimbursement of up to $500 per year Profit Sharing Position Summary Location: Kent, WA (on-site) Shift: Day shift, Monday - Friday The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by efficiently receiving and inspecting inbound product, organizing inventory, and picking product for order fulfillment. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1+ years previous experience in warehouse and/or inventory control operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified forklift/order picker operator or has ability to be certified for forklift and order picker operation.
  • Familiar with operating non-power equipment (pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks)
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Scan Receiving: Utilize scanners to receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and record information accurately. Conduct inspections for any package damage and report issues.
  • Stowing: Efficiently and accurately stow product into designated warehouse rack locations, ensuring proper placement and organization for easy retrieval.
  • Order Picking: Pick and stage product per assigned pick ticket. Accurately scan product from warehouse rack locations to outbound staging locations.
  • Inventory management: Organize and maintain inventory by performing regular cycle count scans.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment (Pallet Jacks, Hand Trucks, Forklifts, Reach Trucks, and Order Pickers.
  • Comprehension: Has the ability to understand, speak, and read English. A Warehouse Specialist I will be required to read, sign, and interpret documents to execute internal processes and is expected to escalate issues timely to not impede workflow.
  • House Keeping: Maintains a safe work area by sweeping, dusting, and removing waste from designated workspaces.
  • Safety Focused: Fully complies with OpenSquare’s safety policies and procedures, including timely reporting of all safety incidents, injuries, and property damage.
