About The Position
The Warehouse Specialist at EFCO LLC plays a crucial role in the transportation of materials within the warehouse environment. This position requires the individual to work as part of a team, with team assignments varying based on business needs. The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for operating various equipment, including tugs, side loaders, and forklifts, to transport materials as required. In addition to transportation duties, the specialist must perform all Job Validation (JV) duties, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards. Regular and dependable attendance is essential, along with flexibility in work hours, including the possibility of overtime. The role also involves the use of hand tools and machinery for the maintenance of equipment and buildings. Proficiency in using computer and scanner systems for inventory accounting is necessary, as is the ability to read, write, and effectively use computers. The Warehouse Specialist must be capable of working well with minimal supervision and actively participate in Continuous Improvement efforts by understanding team performance and supporting process enhancements. The job requires the individual to perform essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
