About The Position

The Warehouse Specialist 1 plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. This position involves various material handling tasks, including product picking, labeling, and packing, utilizing handheld technology and inventory software systems. The role requires physical activity throughout the shift and the ability to work in different work centers as scheduled.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Close attention to detail
• Ability to understand written instructions
• Proficient computer and data entry skills
• Ability to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining mental focus
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Ability to count accurately and perform simple math functions
• Ability to inspect materials and finished products for defects

Responsibilities

• Receive finished goods from Assembly and verify description, quality, quantity, and paperwork.
• Restock primary and secondary stock locations accurately and timely.
• Enter data into the computer database with high accuracy.
• Fill customer orders from stock using a tablet computer, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Fulfill manufacturing departments' Bill of Material (BOM) and supply orders, delivering to the appropriate work center.
• Maintain a 98% picking accuracy.
• Package all products properly, including special packaging requirements and determining the most efficient packaging options.
• Participate in cycle counts and year-end physical inventory.
• Perform general housekeeping and department six sigma activities.
• Adhere to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures, and Safety Requirements.
• Treat others with respect and conduct oneself in a positive and inclusive manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
