About The Position

Agilix Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Supervisor to join our St. Louis, MO location. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Shipping Department, ensuring orders are processed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule. The Warehouse Shipping Supervisor will lead a team of 10–14 employees, drive high performance, and maintain strong communication with internal teams and external carriers.  This position will be needed on the second (2nd) shift position from 2:00pm-10:00pm. Overtime is required for the near future. This role will report to the Warehouse Manager East Region.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
  • 1–3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution operations
  • Proven ability to supervise and develop a team of 10–14 employees
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and hold employees accountable
  • Flexibility and willingness to work until all tasks are completed
  • Knowledge of shipping processes, including small package and LTL carriers
  • Prolonged periods standing/being on your feet throughout the day
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Experience working in a Union environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of 10–14 employees to achieve high levels of productivity and accuracy
  • Supervise Order Pullers and Order Verifiers, providing clear direction and support
  • Manage package shipments via UPS and FedEx
  • Oversee LTL shipments for national customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
  • Coordinate with courier dispatchers to schedule and confirm pickups
  • Provide training for new hires and ongoing training for current staff as needed
  • Monitor employee relations, addressing performance issues and resolving problems in a timely manner
  • Oversee daily employee performance, including coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Partner with management to support a safe, efficient, and team-oriented work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
