Shipping Warehouse Associate Job Summary: Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Requirements

Knowledge of plumbing and/or waterworks products with a strong understanding of product applications.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and stress management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while adapting easily to changing situations.
Proficient computer skills; experience with Eclipse software is a plus.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
High school diploma; or
Six months warehouse experience; or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to pass operator exam and drive powered industrial equipment.
Frequently required to talk, hear walk, sit, stand, push, pull, carry, grasp, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, reach; and lift 50 lbs occasionally required to lift up to 100 lbs.
Must be able to fulfill the essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and a safe manner.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include clear vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more, depth perception, and color vision.

Nice To Haves

experience with Eclipse software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed customer expectations by contributing to a positive customer experience.
Learn and navigate the warehouse/yard layout, bin location system, and product Etna stocks.
Handle all materials, products, and equipment with care to prevent damage.
Accurately gather and assemble materials for shipment or counter pick-up.
Verify work to prevent shipping and inventory errors.
Clearly mark all outgoing products with the customer’s name and carton count.
Operate powered industrial equipment safely and responsibly.
Properly stage all completed orders in designated shipping areas.
Assist with general housekeeping and upkeep of the warehouse and yard.
