About The Position

The Warehouse Shipping Lead will assist in the day-to-day operations of picking, packing, and shipping orders to customers in a timely and safe manner. This position works 3p-11:30 Mon-Fri.

Requirements

Generally, internal candidates must have been in their current position for 12 months, and are expected to hold this position for at least 12 months.
Minimum completion of High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years of previous work experience in shipping/receiving or similar
Must be able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
Experience working with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to handle physical workload – job requires repetitive lifting, standing, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, etc. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Ability to read, write, and understand Spanish is a plus, but not required
Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred
Experience with planning, coordinating, scheduling, and managing transportation logistics
Experience creating bills of lading, shipping manifests, and managing dock orders
Strong work ethic
Sound judgement
Proven written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Ensure customer orders are completing in a timely fashion.
Greet customers in a quick and friendly manner
Coordinate order printing, carton creation, and cart processes
Ensure all orders are released to the warehouse efficiently to meet cutoff times
Coordinate with internal customer service group via phone and email to expedite order changes
Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, as well as other company data, including personnel information
Use provided reports to work with shift supervisors to ensure service guarantees are met consistently
