About The Position

As a Warehouse Associate at Staples, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain by working in various capacities such as Order Picker, Restocker, Bulk Selector, or Custodian. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking and preparing customer orders, restocking shelves, selecting and packing products, and maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to adhere to safety procedures while performing your duties.

Requirements

• Ability to count and use basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to work assigned schedule and be accountable for assigned tasks.
• Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull or carry product up to a maximum of 70 pounds by hand.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Prior warehouse or applicable experience, including fast-food, stockroom, customer service, or package handling.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals.
• Scan labels, cut boxes, and restock shelves to prep work area for the next shift.
• Select product, pull, and pack totes, as well as cut cases of merchandise and/or stock product.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside of the facility.
• Ensure safe work practices and embrace the company's safety culture.
