About The Position

Balanced body is hiring! We are seeking an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join our company’s Shipping team. This is an office position with responsibilities that include all aspects of shipment processing including data entry on carrier sites to generate shipment documentation, liaison between the sales team and carriers to obtain freight quotes, assist with international export documents, and provide general team support where and as needed. To be successful in the position you will be able to meet deadlines, demonstrate great accuracy and attention to detail, consistently follow process, and work well in a team environment. The individual we are seeking will be an excellent communicator and be process oriented. You will be working directly with the Shipping team whose focus will be on getting orders shipped timely and accurately. You should be comfortable in a fluid environment where priorities could shift on occasion. Requirements

Associate’s degree or equivalent
General shipping and warehousing experience
Experience processing shipments on freight carrier sites
Superb time management, organization skills, and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication
Motivated to work independently with minimal direction
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Work collaboratively within a team environment

Responsibilities

Processing of domestic freight orders on carrier sites to generate bill of ladings and labels for shipments
International and domestic freight quote processing.
International export document generation
Perform other duties as required to meet company needs.
