About The Position

MMI Engineered Solutions is looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated individuals to join our team as a Shipper. The Shipper is responsible for handling all shipping duties, including preparing, labeling, and processing outgoing shipments,and maintaining accuracy and compliance in all warehouse activities.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with shipping and receiving responsibilities.
Forklift certified (or ability to become certified).
Experience using scanner equipment and warehouse management systems (IQMS preferred).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Process outgoing shipments through IQMS, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Process UPS and FedEx shipments.
Receive and verify incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and proper inventory placement.
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, including bills of lading and freight documents.
Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality concerns immediately.
Operate forklifts and hand-held scanners safely and effectively.
Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) utilization and maintain 5S standards throughout the warehouse.
Assist with quarterly inventory and general warehouse organization.
Follow all safety and environmental procedures and maintain a clean work area.
