The Warehouse Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance and management of our clients' exhibit inventory. This inventory comprises items manufactured by CenterPoint, products procured from external vendors, and our customers' own merchandise stored within our warehouse. The primary responsibilities include preparing, inspecting, and repairing inventory for use at tradeshows and events, ensuring accurate manifests, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work processes efficiently.
  • Safe operation of forklifts for high pile storage (training provided).
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent customer service orientation.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to interpret and follow technical drawing instructions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
  • Able to work in various weather conditions and temperatures.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, sit, and stand for most of the day.

Nice To Haves

  • Tradeshow/Events Industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the preparation of exhibits, graphics, and products for shipment according to blueprints, manifests, work orders, and special instructions.
  • Prepare inventory and client products for tradeshows and events, and upon return, inspect and report on their condition.
  • Lead or assist in the accurate and timely check-in of client properties, rental items, and products ensuring any damages are identified, recorded, and communicated.
  • Create detailed and legible Inventory manifests.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with sales teams and project supervisors.
  • Assist with set-up, test fit, and dismantling of properties as needed.
  • Loading / Unloading of trucks within company safety guidelines.
  • Occasional travel to trade shows, events, and client locations.

  • Assisting with other assigned tasks.
