Dist Warehouse Scanner Summary: To process manufacturer goods (receive, check, load and ship) received by the distribution center prior to shipment to individual stores, under general direction from line supervisors; and do other related work as required. The distribution center Processor position is an entry level, hourly position in BrandsMart USAs distribution center. Position can either be part time or full time. Individuals hired at the distribution center either for an entry-level processor position, quality control processor or an entry-level shipping/receiving position. All supervisory positions are filled from within BrandsMart USA. Positions in this classification are unique to the distribution center. Warehouse/stock clerks in the BRANDSMART USA store locations perform some similar position duties. Individuals in these and other positions in the distribution center may be required to perform these tasks to fill in during peak periods. Duties and Responsibilities: Opens and Sorts Products and Verifies Contents Products arrive at the distribution center direct from the manufacturers in boxes ranging from 5 to 250 pounds. Tags and Labels Products with BrandsMart USA Tags, Clasps or Other Labels After products are sorted and verified, tags and/or labels are affixed. Supervisors distribute labels to the appropriate processing areas to be affixed by the processors to sorted and counted products Check products for manufacturer defects, detect defects to or damage of products and promptly report any observed flaws.
Requirements
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to accurately perform the above requirements. A high school diploma is required.
- No prior experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior warehouse distribution center experience is preferred.
- Preference is given to persons with CPR certificates or similar training.
