About The Position

The Warehouse Sanitation Team cleans the warehouse daily and works in multiple dock environments. This is a direct hire position with Capstone Logistics, which is the premier provider of 3rd Party services in distribution centers across the nation. With a footprint of over 400 DCs in 45 states and Canada, Capstone is the preferred partner for many major retailers, groceries, and specialty companies. Requirements

• Past warehouse or cleaning experience.
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision.
• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic.
• Independent decision maker as needed to accomplish tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep the work site clean and free of debris.
• Learn both sanitation and pallet sorting best practices within a warehouse facility.
• Work alone or in teams with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel.
• Be assigned to specified areas within the work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations.
• Inform Site Supervisor and Manager regarding conditions on the dock, accomplishments, and concerns.
• Contribute suggestions for improvements.
