About The Position

Join Our Team! Warehouse employees are important members of the ABC team, who make sure that product is ready for shipment to our 125+ stores. Team members work in a physically demanding environment where meeting productivity standards and safety standards are required. The Warehouse Custodian is responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and orderly. Specific Job Responsibilities Will clean up around warehouse team members, including disposing of trash, picking up/breaking down boxes, and spill/bottle clean-up Clean warehouse restrooms and breakrooms Clean the floors in warehouse offices Sweep floors throughout entire warehouse Using a drivable floor cleaner/ scrubber Use a forklift to move materials as needed Breakdown boxes Use a cardboard baler Collect and dispose of trash throughout warehouse and offices May be assigned designated areas of responsibility in warehouse Hours are Monday-Thursday 9-6 and Friday 8-12 Warehouse Responsibilities – All Employees Follow all ABC safety protocols Promptly report and clean up spills, breakage or other issues Lift 35-50-pound cases, sometimes a hundred times a day Stand on feet for 10+ hours a day Maintain minimum productivity standards per department Assemble boxes for spilt case line Clean, sanitize, and keep warehouse tidy Prepare work area for next day, including charging equipment and organizing area Other duties as assigned Warehouse Requirements – All Employees 19 years of age or older Must pass both drug and background checks prior to starting work Must speak and understand job-level English Have a positive teamwork attitude; is reliable and trust-worthy Physical Requirements With or Without Accommodations Must be able to remain standing for long periods of time, upwards of 10 hours at a time, and move throughout the warehouse Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of product Must be able to reach with hands and arms for product and use hands to work with and feel product Able to frequently climb and descend ladders or lift platforms that may be greater than 6 feet. Able to move body to access products that are out of reach above or below body level Sense of smell occasionally needed to find damages that may not be visible Close vision (at 20 inches or less), distance vision (at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus are needed. Must be able to climb stairs Work Environment Frequent humid conditions; the warehouse is a not temperature-controlled. Fans are provided. Moving mechanical parts are frequently used. The employee is frequently exposed to working in high, precarious places (greater than 6ft). There is occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Requirements

19 years of age or older
Must pass both drug and background checks prior to starting work
Must speak and understand job-level English
Have a positive teamwork attitude; is reliable and trust-worthy
