About The Position

The Warehouse Sanitation Associate (Multi-Function) is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary warehouse environment in alignment with company standards and food safety requirements. This role supports warehouse operations by ensuring all workspaces, equipment, and common areas are properly cleaned and maintained.

Requirements

Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a warehouse, sanitation, or janitorial role preferred
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
Ability to operate or willingness to learn powered industrial equipment
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a warehouse or food distribution environment
Prior experience operating powered industrial equipment (e.g., motorized pallet jack, floor scrubber)
Familiarity with sanitation standards and safety protocols

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of warehouse floors, racks, equipment, offices, break rooms, and restrooms
Follow daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation schedules to ensure compliance with food safety standards
Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment
Remove trash, recycling, and waste to designated disposal areas
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and sanitation tools
Operate a motorized pallet jack to move materials, equipment, or waste as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
Complete and maintain sanitation logs and records as required
Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or sanitation concerns
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Assist with general warehouse support tasks as needed, outside of primary sanitation responsibilities
