About The Position

Ensures Cloth Graders and Grading Balers receive enough product to facilitate continuous work throughout a work shift by moving product to and from various work stations, breaking down bales, and assisting with station clean-up for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Must have strong adherence to all safety policies and wearing all required personal protective equipment at all times.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Ability to be trained and take direction.
Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

Helps to ensure that Cloth Graders and Grading Balers meet their established quotas by moving product, in conjunction with the Forklift Drivers, from work station to work station.
Loads grading tables and conveyor with clothing.
Removes clothing from end of conveyor.
Moves items to baling station.
Speeds up processes by breaking down bales of clothing at the conveyor or grading tables.
Ensures all stations are set up for the next business day at the end of a shift, including removing any trash.
Safeguards company property, including donated goods.
Reports any incidents of theft or misappropriation or unauthorized possession of company property.
May be cross-trained to work as a Cloth Grader, as needed.
Maintains a clean work environment, including restrooms, floors, walls, windows, and parking lots, as directed.
Distributes product from bales, Gaylord boxes, and barrels onto the conveyor, grading tables, and folding tables.
Removes mixed rags from end of conveyor and moves to baling station.
Maintains department allotted space in an organized and safe manner free from food, drink, or other personal items.
Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used.
Immediately takes action and/or reports any unsafe or potential hazards.
Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
