Warehouse Representative - Seasonal Helper
About The Position
Warehouse representatives will be asked to do several different jobs in the warehouse by using electric pallet jacks and forklifts. This position feeds the conveyor, builds stable pallets, puts up received product and returned product, and replenishes our lanes with the product. It is very physically demanding. Times of getting off work could vary during peak periods, the day ends when all of the work is complete. Must be able to lift and carry, including overhead lifting, 15-40 lbs. or more on a repetitive basis during the work day with frequent bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent experience.
- Core competencies in basic math.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation.
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
- Ability to operate a hand truck, six-wheel cart, electric pallet jack and lift jack.
- Ability to visually inspect and read code dates on products.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds overhead and 160 pounds to waist level.
- Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.
- Ability to pass O.S.H.A. forklift certification.
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders on pallets.
- Administers product rotation policy.
- Process return loads.
