About The Position

Under limited supervision, maintains a safe and secure environment for teammembers, vendors and suppliers by monitoring and securing the physical goods within the warehouse premise at all times. Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch products in and out of fast-paced warehouse properly throughout entire process. Monitor warehouse activities to ensure that product status is properly identified in the system, tagged, stored correctly and safely and warehouse space is used efficiently. Ensure requests for distribution have the proper authority. Accountable for coordinating activities within warehouse operations to consistently deliver desired results. Coordinates truck deliveries with other departments and prepares incoming goods for on-time delivery; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and purchase orders. Accurately sort, label, tag, input information into organizational database and secure valuable goods. Maintain physical inventory counts. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to approved electronic requisitions. Build, wrap, sort, load and transport pallets and packages of goods for delivery to several vendors and suppliers internally and externally. Enter data into a database, bar coding, asset tagging or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieve stored information to respond to inquiries. Assists with monthly audits of all IT, Network and valuable consumable assets within the warehouse. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated and highly secure areas. Sort and load materials or items on pallets, racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, bar code or product code. File requisitions, purchase orders or requests for materials or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area. Weigh and count items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards. Perform administrative tasks and activities according to the organization's established procedures. These activities may include facilities maintenance, answering telephones; updating stock cards and inventory records; and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, preparing parcels and dispatch forms. Organize warehouse to ensure it is accessible, safe, secure and the work area is organized at all times. May assist with troubleshooting issues or problems that arise with inventory and deliveries of valuable goods. Assist with equipment maintenance, including cleaning and repairing forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years of previous related experience required
  • Valid CA Driver’s License required
  • Participation in the CA DMV pull program may be required depending on assignment
  • Operate power industrial trucks such as forklift or pallet driver, and work at heights up to 35 feet
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience with inventory management software preferred.
  • Required Service Now software related experience and knowledge for managing digital workflows.
