The Warehouse, Repack position is responsible for breaking down full cases of damaged products from all temp zones into predetermined smaller pack size quantities, or repackage into new cases. The Warehouse, Repack position must inspect the quality of the produce and/or meat product ensuring that only those items meeting established standards are selected and repacked. This position may be assigned other duties as determined per business needs.

Requirements

  • Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • Required Experience: 6 - 12 Months Warehouse and / or production work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • Experience Preferred Experience: 1 - 2 Years , Foodservice distribution related warehouse and / or production work experience
  • Preferred Professional Certification(s): OSHA, Forklift Operator Certificate

Responsibilities

  • Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
  • Reports any and all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
  • Is certified to operate all required equipment.
  • Able to work in all 3 temperature zones (Dry, Cooler, Freezer).
  • Able to lift, carry, and move cases of product up to 100lbs.
  • Inspects all product for quality including product weight, count and other related measures.
  • Sets aside all product that does not meet established standards.
  • Must ensure that all procedures for recording damage/waste are followed.
  • Properly labels items with product description and properly stacks cases on to pallets ensuring no damage to product.
  • Ensures product is properly prepared to transport to dock for receiving into inventory.
  • Follows HACCP guidelines in completing all assigned work duties including proper cleaning and sanitizing of repack room and work area at the end of repacking process.
  • Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
  • Properly operates and secures all equipment and completes all assignments and required paperwork timely and accurately.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
