About The Position

The Warehouse & Relief Driver plays a dual role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and supporting local deliveries. This position is responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking, staging, and inventory management of equipment and parts, while also serving as a backup driver to deliver products to customer and company locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years old
Possesses a valid driver’s license in the state of employment
Has a working knowledge of commercial truck mechanics
Has a working knowledge of current Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
Has a minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 3 years
Placement as driver is contingent upon successful completion of DOT road test, pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, and background check
DMV record cannot reflect an excess of 2 moving violations and/or preventable accidents within the past 3 years
Valid driving license with excellent driving record
Must pass DOT standards
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to proficiently use MS Office including Outlook & Excel, Mincron and a scanner
Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
Minimum 1 year of operating a DOT regulated vehicle, box truck preferred
Current Valid Driver License
High School diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license Chauffeurs with clean driving record
DOT screening annually
Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load/unload and transfer materials
Receive, stock, and organize inventory in designated locations
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
Complete will calls and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup
Ensure warehouse cleanliness and safety through daily inspections and good housekeeping practices
Assist customers and internal staff with product inquiries and order fulfillment
Wear proper PPE and uniform during all shifts
Follow standard operating procedures and company policies
Serve as a backup driver for local deliveries as needed
Safely load, secure, and deliver products to customer sites using company vehicles
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles and forklifts
Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
Accurately complete delivery logs and related paperwork
Provide courteous and professional service during deliveries
Assist with front counter or branch operations when required
