About The Position

Clean Harbors in Kimball, NE is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Technician responsible for executing 55-Gallon Drum movements within the Company's industrial warehouse. This is a full-time, permanent position offering hourly earnings potential of $25 an hour, paid weekly, along with career growth and advancement opportunities. We are searching for a reliable individual with an excellent commitment to safety to join our team! Shifts are 4 days a week, each shift lasting 11 hours, with day shifts from 5am-4pm and evening shifts from 1pm-12am. No overnight shifts are required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous forklift operating experience required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • DOT Training.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications.
  • Ability to climb on and off forklifts.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waist.
  • Climbing up and down vertical ladders.
  • Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force.
  • 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical.
  • Ability to perform 10 pushups, deep knee squats, and sit-ups to determine fitness.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Punctuality and attendance required.
  • Respirator fit test upon hire - clean shaven face required (mustache okay!).
  • Background check, drug screen, and physical required.
  • Must be willing to work day and 2nd shift.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Use a forklift to offload and re-load drums and transport containers throughout the warehouse as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Company's Waste Information Network (WIN) system applicable to inventory and drum storage rack system.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all applicable SOPs.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and follow best practices for supply management in areas of responsibility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
