Your Impact on Our Operations As a Receiving Lead, you will be the driving force behind our receiving and handling standards: Receiving & Material Handling: Safely unload LTL, scheduled shipments, and hot transfers while ensuring all materials are accurately picked, staged, and transported. Team Coordination: Direct daily assignments for Receiving Associates, adjusting workflows based on staffing levels or shipment volume. Priority Management: Monitor and process "Hot Transfer" notifications, quickly locating and moving high-priority items to minimize delays. Equipment Oversight: Oversee forklift inspections and maintenance, ensuring all equipment is used safely and complies with SOPs. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Shipping, Inventory, and the Logistics Coordinator to prevent bottlenecks and ensure smooth transitions. Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to company procedures and safety regulations during all material handling activities.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse leadership or lead role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of forklift operations, inspections, and maintenance SOPs.
Ability to process and prioritize "Hot Transfers" and priority shipments.
Strong coordination skills to manage team assignments and workflow adjustments.
Proficiency in warehouse communication and documentation.
Excellent verbal communication for coaching staff and updating supervisors.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities
