This is a full-time non-exempt position. Warehouse department hours are: 7:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. Warehouse employees are expected to be available to work a 40 hour week during the hours our warehouse is open. Employees will have a 45 minute lunch break. Shifts may vary depending on business needs. Mandatory seasonal overtime as needed. Reports To: Assistant Ops/Warehouse Manager Essential Functions Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips. Enter receiving data into warehouse management system and ERP. Inspect and report any damages or discrepancies to the appropriate department. Bag, package, and label items for storage in warehouse. Process receiving activities in line with company procedures. Verify accuracy of data entered Handle, move, load, and unload materials using manual methods or material handling equipment. Assist with stock rotation, cycle counts, and general inventory control tasks. Collaborate effectively with team members and other internal departments. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Key skills and competencies of the position include, but are not limited to: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and NAV ERP system, as well as Accellos Highjump or similar WMS. Basic knowledge of Math Reliable and punctual Willingness to learn new procedures and equipment Highly motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team Ability to maintain grace under pressure and contribute to a positive work environment Requirements The successful candidate’s qualifications will include: Ability to use pallet jacks, RF or barcode scanners and climb ladders Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently Employees will be responsible for reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing materials, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. in a safe and efficient manner. Seeing to read and review material for accuracy. Hearing and speaking to exchange information with co-workers Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a professional warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, forklifts, pallet jacks, mount and balance equipment and other various equipment as assigned by management. Physical Demands The individual in this position will spend several hours standing and using warehouse equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. He/she may also have to do lifting of supplies and product on a daily basis. These supplies and product can weigh up to 70 pounds. Schedule and Availability Unless other arrangements are made with supervisor, the individual in this position works a full-time schedule week during our open business hours. Business hours: 8am-5pm.
