About The Position

As a Warehouse/Receiving Attendant, your key responsibilities will include receiving and inspecting merchandise, accurately processing and recording receipt of goods, efficiently putting away stock in designated areas, picking and packing merchandise for delivery to outlets, and operating a company vehicle to transport goods as needed.

Requirements

Have a valid drivers license
Knowledge of warehouse and manual handling protocols.
Ability to work in extreme cold/heat environments.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to unload trucks with forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

Unload trucks by forklift and pallet jack
Inspect incoming merchandise for count, specification, quality and quantity
report shortages or damage to the receiving supervisor
Stock or deliver received items to the appropriate area or department, check and sign for all incoming or outgoing items
Date and rotate all incoming perishable food items
Maintain a clean and orderly workstation
Assemble and deliver warehouse orders
Help maintain and assist the Receiving System (Stratton Warren)
Assist in all physical inventories
Report any safety or OSHA violation to supervisor
