Unload truck and inspect the condition of goods received; count and compare to vendor pack list; accept or reject shipment
Move product to appropriate stock bin, cooler, freezer, dry
Check expiration dates and rotate inventory, as required
Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors and managers.
Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations
Wears personal protective Equipment as necessary for the job
Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintain clean shipping supply area; comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
Ability to identify product by size, type, or product code
Forklift experience
Solid reading skills - must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked
Possess basic math and reasoning skills
Must possess certification of power-truck equipment
Ability to understand and execute instructions
Possess general understanding of the warehouse and footprint
Ability to operate inventory control equipment (i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices)
