As a Quality Inspector, you will inspect incoming raw materials, detail parts, kits, components, subassemblies, and major assemblies for visual damage, ensuring that contents and documentation comply with company quality requirements, including MHIRJ engineering specifications. You will be responsible for the Certification of raw materials, parts, and components under Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) regulatory authority. Your day-to-day tasks will include performing dimensional inspections using mechanical inspection tools and gages, ensuring compliance with purchase orders and engineering specifications, and documenting discrepancies and non-conformances. You will also inspect outgoing parts and issue Authorized Release Certificates (ARC's) under TCCA regulatory authority and MHIRJ Quality Manual. Additionally, you will track and maintain accurate shipping/receiving inventory and inspection results using computerized ERP systems and assist in cross-training new hires.
