About The Position
As a Warehouse Quality Auditor at Capstone Logistics, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain operations. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously audit the quality of incoming loads, ensuring compliance with established standards and identifying any deviations that may occur. This position is essential in safeguarding the quality of our services and products, making you the front line of defense in our quality assurance processes. Your day will begin with entering the warehouse in the required safety attire, including a safety vest and over-the-ankle boots. You will clock in at the designated time and participate in pre-shift meetings that cover important safety topics, announcements, stretches, and work assignments. After gathering the necessary auditing tools, including ensuring that tablets are charged and schedules are uploaded, you will proceed to your assigned work area. During your shift, you will conduct quality audits by observing the quality of loads upon arrival, reviewing them for any violations, and documenting root causes through established tablet procedures. You will be responsible for capturing and saving appropriate pictures to effectively communicate any violations, utilizing multiple angles if necessary. Accuracy is paramount, and you will ensure that all information is correct before saving and uploading it. You may be required to audit multiple loads simultaneously and will rotate through breaks and lunch to cover all docks. Your auditing duties will continue throughout the shift until you receive approval to conclude your work for the day.
