About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team. This role involves reading various Bills-Of-Material (BOMs) throughout the shift, locating and staging raw materials and supplies in the warehouse, and using a forklift to organize materials by batch. The successful candidate will weigh individual bags for blend accuracy and use strong math skills to ensure staged orders meet production requirements.

Requirements

• Several years of warehouse experience and proficiency in driving a forklift are strongly preferred.
• Ability to read orders in English and communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Positive interaction skills with plant and office personnel; solution-oriented with the ability to ask questions, conduct research, and resolve issues constructively.
• Strong numerical skills for accurate matching and recording.
• Highly organized and meticulous.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Capable of standing and walking throughout the warehouse during shift which could be 8 to 12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer orders.
• Weigh and cut bags accurately.
• Complete move sheets and make inventory moves according to guidelines.
• Adhere to all safety, food safety, and other relevant policies and procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by the supervisor and assist in other areas as needed.
• Execute all other duties of the Warehouse Team, including but not limited to: Inventory counting, Stretch-wrapping, Staging finished product shipments, Shipping finished products, Returning raw materials and supplies, Receiving inbound products and creating receiving paperwork.
• Work overtime or flexible hours as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
